Critical Care Paramedic Course Information

Initial Course:

The Critical Care course is approved through the IBSC as an FP-C & CCP-C initial and review course. You will receive a total of 40 continuing education credit hours for the course:

Prepatory: 4

Airway & Ventilation: 6

Patient Assessment: 4

Trauma: 4

Medical: 17

Special Considerations: 2

Clinically Related Operations: 1

Pediatrics: 2

Total hours granted: 40

The initial course consists of 36 hours of training, either in person (based on the number of participants in the location), or in a “live” online setting. Following the 36 hours of training, there is 4-hour skills training day in a cadaver lab, then an exam, which can be completed online or proctored by one of our approved instructors. Upon success completion of these requirements, the participant will receive a certificate and card, good for 4 years. The price of the initial "live" critical care paramedic training is $550 and includes all training materials, cadaver lab, and exam. We must have at least 10 people signed up in order to schedule the cadaver lab and dates are dependent upon the cadaver lab and are subject to change, based on the availability of the cadaver.

The initial course, as described above, without the cadaver lab experience, is $400. You will have the option to purchase either the course with the cadaver lab, or one without a cadaver lab.
